Welcome to Moretolaw!

We are a group of City/ex-City lawyers who felt that lawyers were not getting effective access to all the career and lifestyle options that exist.  Therefore, we have created a site with the aim of providing (in an entertaining way) better access to all the options, both within and without law firms.  It is still early days for the site and much remains to be developed.  At present, we update the main features every other Thursday, but we are working hard to add additional facilities (including jobs) to the site on a rolling basis.

Issue 18 Editorial

Our Morelegaloptions interview is with Alice Hardy, who left Lovells at nine months' pqe to do human rights work at a firm called Public Interest Lawyers.  She says that the change has been worth it a million times over.  Read about Alice here

Our Morethanlaw interview is with Tom Randell who left Linklaters at a year's pqe to go into financial PR.  He is now a director at Merlin, a communications agency in the City, and finds it a lot more creative than life as a lawyer.  Read about Tom here.

See our jobs here and our news and views here

Please keep sending us your comments and details of anyone you think we should interview for the site.

Thanks
